IMAGES IN (MOTION)
STORIES IN (RHYTHM)

I’m Corey Ulrich, a Los Angeles–based senior motion designer, editor and art director with more than a decade of work across commercials, brand content, broadcast and streaming television, and music videos. I make work that moves with intent: fluid, heavily eased animation, edits cut to rhythm, and layouts grounded in classical typography.

(MEET) COREY

Trained in film and television at NYU Tisch, I’ve created work for Apple, Headspace, Masterclass, Volkswagen and Coca-Cola. Along the way I’ve been showrunner of Motor Trend’s Head2Head and an editor and DP at Matador Content, and today I’m Senior Motion Designer at Biossance.

HOW I WORK: THE PROCESS

(01)

FIND THE ( IDEA )

Every project starts with the story — what it needs to say, and how it should feel before a single frame moves.

(02)

DESIGN THE ( SYSTEM )

Type, color and framing rooted in classical rules — sometimes reimagined to break them — so every frame feels intentional.

(03)

SET IT IN ( MOTION )

Fluid, eased animation and rhythm-driven editing that carry the story from the first frame to the last.
